Summary: The myth of the Jersey Devil is bound to get some people away from the less populated areas of New Jersey. But in one special case, it wasn't a source of fear, but determination. Also genuine insanity and bloodlust against a beast that no mortal should dare challenge.
History: Richard Vineyard and his family have gone to the Pine Barrens of New Jersey to get some fresh air and spend some time together. But Richard has a bit of an issue. He and many other people visiting have had a run-in with the fabled monster known as the Jersey Devil, and he can't help but feel like it's out there still. But then things start to get bad. Richard suddenly acts completely unhinged, and begins to take his family on a baffling snipe hunt that puts their lives at risk. All for the sake of a demon that probably doesn't even exist.

Final Fate: It is revealed that Richard had untreated rabies, and it was the reason he went bonkers. However, in that moment, we find that the Jersey Devil is very much real, and it assaults the surviving family members. The kids survive the onslaught, and along with some other hunters, they are going back to finish it off...
Powers/Abilities: None.
Weakness: Unknown.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-We don't actually see the Jersey Devil that much. Only its handiwork and word of mouth. And seeing how there are mutilated animal carcasses everywhere, it's safe to assume that this thing is not soft. And when it actually does appear, it does the accounts justice, looking like some sort of flying demonic minotaur.
Trivia: -Originally, this film would have been shot on location, but they had to make due with shooting in three separate forests within the Toronto area.
-The Pine Barrens are seen as the Jersey Devil's ideal home, mainly due to Native American legends describing the place as Popuessing (Place of the Dragon). It is an alternative origin to the creature, deviating from the legend of Mother Leeds.
